Lauren Parliament
Lauren began her referee journey by refereeing with her older brother in Sioux Falls while playing soccer at the same time. After high school she continued refereeing in her spare time while playing College soccer. After she graduated from college, she began refereeing college soccer and wanted to become the best referee she could.
Lauren attending multiple national events (USYS Regionals and Presidents Cup) and began seeking addtional advice from referee colleagues. Her journey led her to graduate school in Denver where she continued her referee journey.
Soon she began refereeing in the USL-Championship league and for various levels of professional soccer. She has always had a passion for giving back to the game that gave her so much. She was honored to be in the pilot program for the new referee coach program. Then in 2024, she was selected to attend the US Soccer National Referee Coach Camp. Lauren succesfully completed this and obtained the level of National Referee Coach in November of 2024. She wants to thank her South Dakota referee family for being the rock and support throughout her referee career! She will be back in South Dakota off and on and hopes to give back to the South Dakota referee family that gave so much to her!
