Learning Center Help Page

The new US Soccer Learning Center is a learning management system and registration database designed to house all US Soccer educational programs for referees. Sign up for a free account, create a Profile, and then take part in online courses, browse for in-person courses in your area, and track your US Soccer licenses and other certifications.

If you are already a referee, all your important information will be in your Profile, i.e., 16-digit USSF ID number, e-Mail address, phone number, personal photo, receipts for payments made, licenses held, and registration history.

IMPORTANT: Referees will now use the Learning Center for annual Recertification & Registration.

US Soccer has provided the following User Guides for creating a Profile, initiating a Background Check, taking and managing Courses, and for generating Reports.

Learning Center Signup

Provides the Learning Center URL and step-by-step instructions for how to create a Profile. When done, all your License information imported from the SalesForce (RefLink) database should be listed.

Initiating a Background Screen

For those who are age 18 and older, provides instructions for how to initiate a National Center for Safety Initiatives (NCSI) Background Check from your Learning Center Profile. The cost is $30 and is good for 2 years. You pay online with a credit card. Determinations take between 7-10 days.

NOTE: Even if you are a coach who has had a background check, you must still have the NCSI Background Check performed.
